PLEASE NOTE: This is best accessed via car, however please message us with any questions about public transport. It is recommended to have a good fitness level.
A proper summit and hike across the roof of the Peaks. We will be walking up alongisde the waterfall and back down Jacob’s Ladder!
We’re meeting up at 08:30, with the aim to start the walk at 09:00.

Trail – Kinder Scout via Crowden Clough and Jacob’s Ladder Circular
Difficulty – Moderate to Challenging
Distance – 8.5 miles
Elevation – 1,800 ft
Estimated time – 4-5 hours
This hike involves steep inclines, a good fitness level is recommended. The trail may also get boggy, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear!

What do I need to bring?

- HELVETII trips are social adventure experiences rather than guided expeditions, meaning there are no qualified mountain leaders present. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should ensure they are comfortable completing the planned route.
- Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing, footwear and equipment suitable for hiking and changing weather conditions.
